    Dr. Ashok S Ganguly, former chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is known for introducing exemplary academic and exam evaluation reforms to secondary education. He has initiated the study of subjects like Defence Studies, Fashion Technology, Mass Media, Disaster Management, Life Skills, Genetic Engineering, Entrepreneurship, etc. He was pivotal in bringing the grading system in class X and XII and reducing the children’s stress with lighter school bag, His laudable work is an inspiration to every educational institution.


    Ms Shovana Narayan is one of the leading exponents of Kathak dance in the world, trained under Birju Maharaj. An MSc in Physics from Miranda House, she had a stint at IAAS. She is an author of ten books and has won several prestigious awards, Padma Shri in 1992, Sangeet Natak Akadimi Award 2000, Rajiv Gandhi Puraskar, Indira Priyadarshini Samman and Delhi Government Parishad Samman to name a few. A leading educationist she is affiliated with several educational bodies including DPS R K Puram. She is also Director, Asavari Dance Company which nurtures Kathak dance talent.


    Mr V K Sharma, an eminent Physics teacher and able administrator served as Deputy Director Education, Government of Delhi for 9 years. A CSIR and Commonwealth fellow in Physics he has authored a book and has been responsible for the development of Physics curriculum for CBSE. He is the recipient of the Chief Ministers Trophy in 2001-2002 and was awarded S RadhaKrishnan award for outstanding contribution to the field of education. He has been a resource person for workshops of DOE/SCERT and was on the governing body of CBSE from 2001-2006. He is currently a member of advisory board of many schools.



    Doctor of Science, Chief- Surgery & Allied Surgical Specialities, Director- Institute of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery,Max Healthcare, Saket, Honorary Surgeon to the president of India, Dr Pradeep is a Padamshree awardee.One of the pioneer laproscopic surgeons of India Dr Pradeep Chowbey was the first to perform Laproscopic cholecystectomy in North India and has been working tirelessly ever since to develop, evaluate and propagate Minimal Access, Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery in India.



    Hailing from Rajasthan, General Ajay Singh displayed his mettle at a young age when he won the ‘Sword of Honour’ at the IMA (Indian Military Academy) for the Best Outgoing Gentleman Cadet. In a career spanning almost 40 years in the Indian Army, he rose to the second highest Rank (Lt Gen) and distinguished himself in each appointment, notably as the GOC of 4 Corps in Assam. For his successful handling of the insurgency, the state conferred him the rare award of ‘Governor’s Gold Medal’. A master strategist, Gen Singh is an alumnus of the Royal College of Defence Studies of London. He is the recipient of several military awards: the gallantry award ‘Mention in Despatches’ during the Indo-Pak War 1965, the ‘Ati Vishisht Seva Medal’ and the ‘Param Vishisht Seva Medal’ (the highest honour awarded by the Indian Army). After his retirement, General Ajai Singh was appointed the Governor of Assam in 2003.



    Dr M.M Mehndiratta is the Professor of Neurology at G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi. An eminent neurologist, he is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. He has published hundred and fifty scientific papers and edited six books in addition to delivering several prestigious orations. He is on the board of directors of World Stroke Organisation and Chair Advocacy task force of World Federation of Neurology.



    Sonal Kalra the eminent Indian journalist-author, heads Entertainment, Art and Lifestyle division of the Hindustan Times. She also writes a popular weekly column A Calmer You in HT City. She has previously edited a tech magazine and contributed to lifestyle publications on decor, health, wellness, fashion, food, beauty & fitness and travel. Her notable works include the ‘HT Power Couples series’, where she interviewed the five most powerful couples of Indian film industry for the first time ever in their homes. She received the ‘Outstanding contribution to Journalism’ award 2009 from the World Punjabi Organisation, an International non-political body, for the above series.
    She is the author of the best seller, ‘A Calmer You’ which gives witty tips to beat everyday stress in life. She is the co-author of another book, ‘E-Government Toolkit for Developing Countries’. Sonal Kalra is a gold medallist from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and recipient of many awards including Excellence in Journalism Award 2010, the Manthan Award for exemplary content practices 2007, Best Content award for National Portal by Government of India 2005, and the Public Relations Society of India award 1996.
